Both for business and holidays, the Blue Raven B&B is a great way to really meet the north – with people who have lived here for 40 years and who have worked in the hospitality business for 25+ years. We’d be happy to set you up with a book from our northern library during your stay. The house is located in the charming Old Town area and only several minutes walk from northern style restaurants, intriguing gift shops, boat & air charters, and a playground.

In the summer, there are long sunsets, also known as the midnight sun. The area is an excellent location for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and fishing! Blue Raven B&B is near hiking and biking trails and just a minute from the lakeshore’s public park.

During winter, this is a great place to experience breath-taking aurora viewing right from the quiet neighborhood. You can also relax by the fireplace with northern literature, do a cross-country ski, skate, snowshoe, hike, ice fishing, snowmobiling, dog sledding, and more fun activities. Supplemental winter clothing can be provided.

For your breakfast, we offer the host’s daily specials, such as omelet, french toast, or other tasty morsels. Additionally, there’s fruit, coffee, tea, and juice. If you have any special dietary considerations we will certainly try to accommodate you. Also available on request is a continental self-serve or a picnic breakfast for those needing breakfast before 8am.
